Talking about philosophy, there's a difference between Eastern Philosophy (Chinese Philosophy) and Western Philosophy. Western Philosophy mostly talking about ambition, individualism, rationalism, power, and freedom. In other hand, Chinese Philosophy mostly talking about goodness, harmony, and human to human relationship.

Life is not only talking about the "end", but also the "journey" to reach the final destination. That's why "LIFE IS A JOURNEY". It means while realizing your dream, your ambition, or pursue your purpose, you can't ignore the other part of your life.
You have to enjoy this life, now and here. Never procrastinate, never waste your life, and never think to enjoy your life when you are already success. For example: When you were a kid, needless to say, you like candies, dolls, and toys. With money you have now, can you buy the pleasure and the happiness? You can buy the things even so much better, but can you enjoy it like you did in your childhood?
It doesn't mean you can't work hard to be success. But being too focus to successful will make you lose your happiness and your opportunity to have pleasuring experience. Work hard and be focus to purpose do give you spirit and motivation. Even so, don't ever you quit being "the real you".

An Over-busy Father
There's a father that very busy with his job. Every day he goes to office before his children wake up, and comes home late in the night while his children are sleeping.
One day, his five-years child waited for him until night. Seeing his father was home, he asked his father: "Dad, can you tell me something?" His father answer immediately: "Sure, sweet heart. What's that?"
"How much money you earn per hour?" The boy asked curiously.
"Why did you ask such thing?" He asked.
After a few minutes being forced, he told the kid that he was paid Rp100.000 per hour. The kid asked his father for Rp50.000, but he refused. For the kid beg him so much, finally he gave the kid Rp50.000.
The kid thanked his father so much and looked so happy. The kid ran, got his piggy bank, and counted his money. After being count, it was exactly Rp100.000.
The kid then ask his father: "May I buy your time an hour?" With glassy stare the kid continue: "Tomorrow can you come home early and have dinner with me?" The kid's voice was so gentle but it touched his father's heart.
Message: Time and love can't be trade with money. So, save your time for your family, specially for your children because they need guidance, attention, tenderly, love, and your time.
That condition will create happiness for you and your family, and will be a very special moment in your life.
